Explore Indigenous ways of knowing and being in the world through the perspective of an educator. This community will have the opportunity to have meaningful discussions combined with practical learning in order to go back to their schools with confidence in being participants in Indigenous Education (as an ally or Indigenous person). Some topics which may be explored are Indigenous pedagogy, land based learning, First People’s Principles of Learning, culturally responsive assessment.
