There are many documented benefits of using technology in the classroom. Technology can be used to enhance and support learning by assisting with the personalization, capturing, and communication of learning, increasing a teacher's ability to provide feedback and support, adjusting the pace of learning, engaging and motivating students, increasing the array of resources available to students, as well as providing students with the necessary workplace skills they need to be successful.

When using any digital tools with students it is your responsibility to follow all necessary steps to keep the students and their data safe online.  You must also be aware of possible students who have opted out of using digital tools (run Field Set in MyEd named "SD22 Google/Digital tools/Software Opt Out").  Check out the Digital Literacy for information pertaining to safety and click HERE for information on FOIPPA responsibilities.
