This session will focus on the syilx-Okanagan stories, ‘How Names Were Given’ and ‘How Turtle Set the Animal People Free’. Participants will; • build on their own understanding of captikwl (syilx-Okanagan stories) • explore several classroom activities including nsyilxcn lessons, literacy-focused activities, hands-on / experiential learning, and land-based learning. • explore related mixed media resources
