This workshop provides staff with foundational knowledge about hearing differences and strategies to support Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) learners. Participants will explore the diverse experiences of students with hearing loss, including cultural perspectives, communication approaches, and technology considerations. Emphasis is placed on creating inclusive learning environments, fostering self-advocacy, and addressing accessibility in both academic and social settings. By the end, learners will be equipped to promote understanding, inclusion, and success for DHH students.
