Tomorrow is Pink Shirt Day across SD22!!

This year’s Pink Shirt Day theme is “Sprinkle Kindness,” a reminder that small, visible acts of kindness and care can have a powerful impact on the culture of our schools and workplaces. A welcoming word, standing beside someone, or speaking up when something doesn’t feel right all contribute to creating environments where everyone feels safe, valued, and included.

Pink Shirt Day is an opportunity for us to make our commitment visible. When students, families, and staff see schools and worksites filled with pink, it sends a clear and collective message that kindness, respect, and belonging matter in SD22. For some, especially those who may feel vulnerable, this visibility can be deeply reassuring.
